OMG, what a lovely soul!
Have said it before as folks with Downs are the angels on Earth that we don’t deserve! Their simple joy and hearts and the way they treat people all the time is the way that I wished other people treated people half the time!

I swear, everyone that I’ve ever known with Downs seemed to be some of the sweetest souls on earth. They all seemed to have so much empathy, and I’ve always been curious as to why that is. Like does that extra chromosome cause them to naturally have more empathy for their fellow humans, or somehow make them less umm, I don’t want to say vindictive, but I don’t know the word that I’m looking for. They just don’t seem to have any meanness in them at all. I wish all humans saw the world as they do.
