Reuters say there are no reports of casualties. The bridge was closed on Monday afternoon following reports of cracks appearing in nearby areas. It collapsed on Tuesday afternoon.

It looks like this was structurally unsound foundation- not the bridge per se. Still something they would have seen coming with proper surveying and geological research.

The mountain gave way but that’s part of the bridge engineering… the construction was faulty as the geological survey should have revealed this weakness and the mountain been reinforced or the bridge not built there. Glad no one was hurt.
I immediately checked to see if this was AI.
We’re going to have to get used to doing that for everything now I suppose.

Never ordering a bridge from TEMU every again.
They didn’t have enough time to check mountain stability in the 4 days it took to build.
Most things made in china can warranty for 30 days. Once it is past amazon free return period, all bets are off.
