If you click on the original post you will get a lot more info about how it was shot (camera, lens, shutter speed, timings, location etc). Pretty amazing. A quick TLDR: the camera was pointed at the south celestial pole, hence the stable center’. Anyway, I’m probably not really explaining it right, go read his post. He knows a lot more about this kind of stuff than me.
