An expansive area of high pressure will build across the Northeast. Afternoon temperatures will reach the upper 60s, with a light southeasterly flow. Scattered clouds will move in ahead of a weak cold front, with a sprinkle possible in northern Ohio late tonight.

The cold front will move across Ohio on Saturday, bringing a mix of clouds and the chance for a few showers across the north. Temperatures will warm slightly into the low 70s.

Sunshine will return on Sunday, with seasonable temperatures. A storm system developing along the East Coast will remain far east enough to have no real impact on our weather in central Ohio, except for some high clouds. Thicker clouds and a few showers will brush the northeastern part of the state.

The weather next week will be pleasant early next week, with highs in the low to mid-70s and morning readings near 50. A cold front will cross the state on Wednesday, with a chance for a few showers and a slight cooldown.
