In theory, but in practice a lot of women have a pelvis that doesn’t accommodate the baby’s head and require Caesareans. And you can’t necessarily tell by the shape or size of her external hipbones. E.g. my sister has what everyone thought were “birthing hips” but as it turns out, they look very different on the inside.
And yet the female pelvis is still arguably too small. Other mamals have waaaay less trouble giving birth. For humans it’s a lifethreatening experience because of that damned huge head we felt the need to evolve. Women pay the price for this ginormous melon we call a head.
To clarification: the pelvis has joints that are usually stiff and unmovable, but during pregnancy, hormones change the structure of said joints and make them smoother and more flexible what allows the pelvis to expand. I’m male and had a inflammation in one of that joints recently. It’s so painfull some doctors calls it “pseudo-ichias”

Is this where the term birthing hips come from?
I really dislike how aggressively that orb slams back up into place.
My sons never arrived in a metal sphere!
This is underselling it from what I understand. That cartilage on the pelvis has to actually spread open to accomidate the head.
It’s actually very difficult to shove a baby skull through a pelvis, even without all the flesh.
And humans already kinda give birth a few months early compared to other mammals, given how helpless and immobile our newborns are.
finally an explanation for why I can’t shit an enormous chrome orb
Is this what they mean by “she’s got child bearing hips”
Men would just solve this by birthing smaller babies.

Omegaverse must be painful
I like the implication that the baby delivery system is spring loaded and the baby gets *launched* like that out from the pelvis upwards lol.
Is the spherical baby frictionless?

Yes, being able to give birth comes with worse collagen, worse posture and worse muscle/fat ratio. 🎉
My mum has tiny hips. No wonder it took her 2 days to get me out. And no wonder her last baby needed a c section to get out.
I do not envy the people that want a vaginal birth with narrow hips.
Looks (even more) unpleasant lol.
And this is why teens shouldn’t have kids. Their bodies are not fully grown.
As someone whos wife 37.5 weeks pregnant, I am simultanously relieved and terrified.
Edit: Thanks everyone for the well wishes❤️
Does this mean men can’t take those uper mega gigantic dildos?
Ladies, thank you for your cervix.
That’s a painful poop.
Sometimes the head jumps right back in.
Bad news for all the men that want to push a giant metal ball through their pelvis. I’m sure they’re way more numerous than I’d like to believe.
It sure takes some balls to make a video like this.
So… how many moms winced when the head popped back up?
Why is baby’s head made from iron?
A random person on Twitter:The baby is transphobic
So men can’t give birth?
Fucking shocker
Good thing I will never have to poop such gigantic shit.
Hips don’t lie
Science!!
Metal Brain Solid
I’ve fit bigger.
Them hips don’t lie
Baby heads are a bit squishy though – a man with enough determination would get this done 💪

This is interesting to guys who have never seen a woman irl before.
