Adorable. With that said if my GF’s bonkers cat fell asleep up the sleeve of my robe I’d be terrified that like, someone outside shutting a car door too hard, or me ripping a fart or a sneeze would send her into a panic and absolutely shred my arm up. That cat is skittish as fuck.
This is a sign that she/he trusts you enough to protect her/him with their life. When your cat falls asleep like that they are not only making themselves completely vulnerable to you but trusting that you’ll protect them from anything.
My cousins cat likes to sleep on people, but if the people aren’t doing something like… typing on a keyboard, drawing, knitting…. Whatever. They wake up quickly and leave to find someone who is doing something. If you remain still too long, they wake up, get up, and find someone.
I can only assume they like to know people are present.
This is totally different to their dog (some sort of cocktail of german shepard and something) is basically the very opposite. Soon as you are doing anything, they walk out to find someone who is not doing something. Also the dog likes to make increasingly loud sighs, until attention is gien. In the sense that it can come into a room, sigh quietly, sigh louder, walk closer to you and repeat until sufficient attention has been granted.

This is the ultimate cat trap. My old guy used to do this with my sweater sleeves and I’d just have to accept my fate.
I had a kitten that would crawl up my clothes so she could curl up in the hood on my jacket. I would do housework with her snoozing away!

My cat does the same thing all the time. Hell paw open the front, climb in, and then lay in my sleeve like it’s a hammock.
