Doc here. OP please ignore people telling you this is disease. These are completely normal rings called contraction furrows that some people with brown eyes show more prominently. They are not cholesterol deposits and they are not copper deposits.
Optical tech here! Gorgeous furrows! I see these every day, and thay are normal. They come in all sorts of size and aren’t always noticeable in dark eyes.
I have a friend with eyes who look exactly like this. I always thought it was very unique and striking! We don’t talk anymore but her eyes were very memorable
They’re just iris contraction furrows. Caused by the pupil contracting and expanding. Some people are genetically predisposed to them, and it also has something to do with iris thickness. Nothing to be concerned about.
