【緊急速報】セブ島を襲った大地震：被災地の今、私たちができること
フィリピン・セブ島沖で発生したマグニチュード6.9の地震。

今回の地震で、少なくとも68名が死亡、約77,000人が避難を余儀なくされています。
ボゴ市の州立病院では、建物が損傷し、約50人の患者が仮設テントで治療を受けています。重症患者は他の施設へ搬送される事態に。
治療を受けている女性は、地震のショックで呼吸困難に陥り、猛暑の中で苦しんでいます。
医師は、感染症、清潔な水の不足、衛生状態の悪化によるリスクを警告しています。
都市の一部では断水が発生しており、食料、水だけでなく、避難した家族への経済的支援も必要とされています。
２．現地からの声：恐怖と不安
現地の語学学校経営者、藤岡雷光さんは、地震を「16年間で最大」と表現。
学校の生徒やスタッフ約4,000人を避難させましたが、パニックに陥り、過呼吸で病院に運ばれる人もいました。
「地震の経験がない国の生徒もいるので、ケアが必要でした」と語ります。
セブ市在住の丹羽雄馬さんは、ボゴで入院した友人の家族を見舞いました。
道路には亀裂が走り、古い建物だけでなく、新しい建物も倒壊していました。
映像には、ハンバーガーチェーン店が傾き、建物の外壁が崩壊して道路を塞いでいる様子が映っています。

People in the Philippines have been dealing with the aftermath of a powerful and deadly earthquake that struck off the coast of Cebu Island. Authorities say the magnitude 6.9 quake killed at least 68 people, while around 77,000 have been displaced. Full-fledged rescue operations have been ongoing. An NHK crew visited the most devastated area and sent the following report.
At Bogo city’s provincial hospital on Thursday, about 50 patients were treated outdoors under makeshift tents after the quake damaged the building. Other critically ill patients had to be transferred to other facilities.
One woman receiving care outside said she was struggling to breathe after the trauma of the quake and described conditions as unbearably hot.
A doctor warned that patients now face risks from infectious diseases, shortages of clean water, and poor sanitation.
Parts of the city were without running water. Cebu Governor Pamela Baricuatro appealed for further support, saying power still needed to be restored. Communities required not only food and water but also financial assistance for families displaced in the northern part of the island, she said.

‘The biggest in 16 years’
Fujioka Raiko runs a local English conversation school, where many Japanese are enrolled. He experienced the quake while at home after work. His house was undamaged, he said, although he described the jolt as “the biggest in 16 years.”
About 4,000 students and staff were in his school facilities when the quake struck. They were evacuated and no one was injured.
“People panicked, and some hyperventilated and were taken to hospitals,” he told NHK. “We needed to take care of our students, some of whom come from countries with no experience of earthquakes.”
Niwa Yuma, who lives in Cebu City, central Cebu Island, visited the family of a friend in Bogo who was hospitalized after the jolt.
He said he saw cracks on the roads before reaching the city, and that along with old buildings and two-story structures, some new looking buildings had toppled.

Footage he took in the city shows a building housing a major hamburger chain store tilted to one side. The outer walls of another building appeared to be reduced to rubble, blocking a main road.
