  1. Growing up in a family of religious conservatives, not shocked at all

  2. Boonzies より:

    That’s a lot of *pedos.*

  3. Americans are slowly beginning to realize that many of their fellow citizens prefer authoritarianism when it’s targeted at people they dislike, and that nothing will dissuade them from that support. And that this very much connects to politics throughout history.

  4. Are you ready for their line of thinking? Because I sure as shit wasn’t when I asked a family friend, who is a die-hard Trumper, what he had to say on the matter. “Well, the Clintons did it! They raped kids too, so why should I stop supporting him because he did the same thing?”

  5. def_indiff より:

47% *admit* it. Close to 100% would actually do it.

  6. Etzell より:

The people who bought “kill your local pedophile” merch en masse don’t care about actual pedophilia? Wow, what a completely shocking turn of events, who could ever have seen that coming?

  7. slo1111 より:

    Kid diddlers unite!

Edit:  Hillary’s estimate of half Trump supporters as deplorable is still very relevant and accurate

  8. No_Celery_5373 より:

If you see the red hat.. You see a pedo!

  9. blues111 より:

And that is how you know its a cult

  10. DonManuel より:

    Guardians Of Pedophiles

  11. 47% of Republicans would let their daughters work in Epstein Island

  12. tricerathot より:

maybe something about seeing your reflection and needing to protect it or something

  13. “47% of Republicans ADMIT they would still vote for Trump even if he were implicated in Epstein’s crimes.”

Fixed it, because we know the real answer is much higher.

  14. They are so lost. It’s incredible what the propaganda has done.

  15. SISWIWH より:

And the other 53% are lying.

  16. ToNoMoCo より:

    Magas are pedos. That’s why.

  17. Beary_Christmas より:

Grew up with a conservative family. Was a conservative for most of my early life, have lived in exclusively red states all my life.

What you need to understand is they think Democrats/Liberals/Leftists (all the same thing to them) are fundamentally evil people. I went to a Church once where an associate pastor voted Democrat, the congregation genuinely did not understand how he could be a Christian and vote Democrat. It wasn’t that they were just surprised that his beliefs were different, it’s that they were incompatible.

They think on a moral level, not being a Republican means you are a bad person. Not well intentioned and wrong, bad. Evil.

This was about 17 years ago. It’s almost definitely gotten worse.

For a large amount of them there is no line in the sand because the line was at the starting point, the simple yes no question of “Are you a Republican?” And if you answer correctly to that question you are blessed and condoned no matter what because to them, a Republican is a righteous position.

You should hate these people will all of your heart. Their words are worthless, their actions are despicable.. they have no redeeming qualities. They destroy the bonds of the people around them and the world they live within. They are true scum.

  19. Zanac36532 より:

Because they don’t give a shit about morality or ethics. Because they ARE the basket of deplorables that Hilary made reference to. They just don’t care when it comes down to it. DT wasn’t wrong – he could shoot someone in Times Square and he’d probably GET votes, not lose them.

  20. 94% of The Peoples Temple members killed their families to please Jim Jones.

I’m starting to see a pattern.

  21. It’s almost like they are cult members. We need a nationwide intervention.

  22. aezekiel_121 より:

Power, position, and “winning” are more important to conservatives than values. It has always been thus, it’s just getting more easy to see through the façade of vapid religious bullshit they try to veil it with.

  23. wookiewin より:

Trump could 🍇 a child on stage at his next rally and they’d defend it. He has no floor with these people.

  24. Of course they will.. nothing surprising

  25. All you need to know about today’s GOP.

  26. AoE_Mobius_One より:

You embraced this Rs, so you get the branding that comes with this. Despicable people who only care about power and money, and diddling kids.

  27. TTPMGP より:

It’s because they have been brainwashed their entire lives to believing liberals are the literal devil. No matter what any republican could do- it’s nothing compared to the evil (usually made up) things liberals have done.

  28. GuitarGod1972 より:

    GOP…
    Group
    Of
    Pedophiles

  29. ludixst より:

To be fair that’s only because conservatives are disgusting, horrible people

  30. jkuhl より:

Republican party has shown its true colors as being completely and utterly devoid of integrity, honesty and decency.

It’s a cult that worships a man who’s committed rape, participated in sex trafficking and has attempted to subvert democracy every chance he’s had.

  31. happysunbear より:

He has gleefully admitted to sexually assaulting women. He has admitted to sexual attraction to his own daughter. He was found liable for rape in civil court and ordered to pay damages. His cult does not care.

  32. Ferreteria より:

This isn’t a shock at all. The hate and fear they’ve manufactured over “the other team” (left, trans, foreign, doesn’t really matter specifically) outweighs everything else. They’ve won the information warfare game. Even with Trump out of office, that will persist.

We have an extremely difficult struggle ahead of us, but the only chance we would have of fixing this country is to win back the information battleground.

  33. It’s like this makes sense if he’s this charismatic, silver tongued, devilishly handsome dude like The Music Man..

But he’s an obese, elderly, out of touch rich guy from New York City of all places, who wears makeup every day. It just doesn’t make any sense to me at all.

Again, I fully understand being “told what you want to hear and going along with it.” Just not from that one particular dude.

  34. doocurly より:

This is why I don’t abide by the “we have to listen to the other side”. They are going to make the wrong decision no matter what you say to them. Leave them in the rear view mirror.

  35. spencer4991 より:

No, 47% of them are honest with themselves and/or the pollsters. There are certainly some who know it would be perceived as wrong and lied to the pollsters. Then there are some who haven’t admitted to themselves that they’re in so deep that they ultimately won’t care. Lastly there are those who wouldn’t right now but will inevitably be convinced by the right-wing propaganda machine.

  36. Jdevers77 より:

47% ADMIT they would still vote for Trump if implicated in Epstein’s crimes, at least 90% would still vote for Trump in reality. Epstein would just make it harder for them to admit it.

The good thing though is this DOES have an effect on non-Republican voters.

  37. TheTelekinetic より:

Would? They already did. Trump was implicated in Epstein’s for years before he ever ran for president the first time, and they all voted for him 3 times.
