Sims 3 Grim Reaper had so much character. I once had both parents in the family die, and after the Grim Reaper came to take them to the afterlife he stuck around to do the washing up for the orphaned kids.
As someone who has a dog, this made me tear up a bit.
I love how games used to feel so much warmer back then.
There’s a line from a song called ‘Mr. Bojangles’ that goes, “But the dog up and died. The dog, just got old and died. After twenty years he still grieved.”
It reads as cheesy in text, but goddam if it isn’t true. I miss you, buddy.

Sims 3 is the best
Everybody a hardcore gamer until their Sim dies and that Sim’s pet goes to their gravestone and howls at it sadly.
Laying on the floor next to my dog that is not doing too well. I was not ready for this post.

This is why I go back to Sims 3 time and time again. Open world, tons of lore, and little details like this. I love my pixel paper dolls.
My only comfort for when my dog inevitably passes is that at least she wont be alone on the other side. I took her in when my auntie passed a couple years ago, so she has family here and family there.
Man I miss simpler times for sure…

Sims 3’s grim reaper was peak, arrives accompanied by a banger theme. Aura farms. Treats animals with love and care. doesn’t elaborate, leaves.

The Sims 3 is still my favourite Sims. Even though i played Sims 4 few times, I just can’t get over with Sims 3 and I just missed playing it
EA doing some weird damage control after that Saudi buy out.
